  • No experience is necessary. Whether it’s your first time holding a fly rod or you’re an experienced angler looking to refine your technique, trips are tailored to your skill level. Beginners will receive hands-on instruction in casting, reading water, fly selection, and fish fighting techniques.

  • Clients should bring weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and any personal items they may need for the day. If you have your own fly rod, waders, or favorite gear, you’re welcome to bring it, but equipment can also be provided if needed.

  • Yes. All anglers are required to have a valid Arizona fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online at‍ AZGFD.com ‍before your trip.

  • Trips run in most weather conditions, as fishing can still be productive in light rain or overcast conditions. However, safety always comes first. In the event of dangerous weather, the trip may be rescheduled.

  • Life Happens! However, we require 7 days’ notice for a full refund of the deposit. This allows us enough time to try to rebook the trip.

  • Absolutely. Guided trips are a great way to introduce new anglers to fly fishing. Instruction is patient, relaxed, and designed to make learning enjoyable for anglers of all ages.
